Directions for Use

As an Oil Paint Thinner

When you need smoother strokes or easier blending, Odorless Mineral Spirits can be mixed with oil paints to improve their consistency.

Follow the paint manufacturer’s recommended ratio of thinner to paint.
Add mineral spirits slowly and mix thoroughly to avoid over-thinning.
Do not use with water-based or latex paints.
Do not mix with sealants such as lacquer or shellac.

For Surface Preparation (Furniture or Project Pieces)

Ensure the surface is free of dust and loose debris.
Allow the surface to dry completely.
