How to Use Ultra Bond Adhesion Promoter
- Prepare the Surface: Clean thoroughly to remove wax, grease, silicone, or residue. Use Emerge Cleaner Degreaser or another non-residue cleaner. Lightly scuff or sand to promote mechanical adhesion.
- Mix Real Milk Paint® First: Blend your powdered Real Milk Paint® with water until fully mixed and smooth.
- Add Ultra Bond: Mix 1 part Ultra Bond to 4 parts liquid Real Milk Paint®. Example: Add 8 oz of Ultra Bond to 1 quart (32 oz) of mixed paint.
- Blend Thoroughly: Stir until the Ultra Bond is fully incorporated. The paint may thicken slightly, which is normal.
- Apply the First Coat: Brush or roll the Ultra Bond–enhanced paint onto the prepared surface.
- Test Before Full Application: Always test adhesion on a small section and allow 24 hours to dry before proceeding with the full project.
