RETURN & REFUND POLICY

Self-Service Returns

Use our self-service returns portal to get your return/refund request easily and at your convenience. All self service returns use UPS as the carrier.

Cancellations

Once your order has been fulfilled and the shipment tracking number has been created, you cannot cancel your order. Upon delivery of your order, refuse the package or begin the return process.

Changes

We do not allow changes to orders. Please contact us at [email protected] immediately to cancel your order. Place a new order with the desired items. A full refund for the canceled order will be issued. Orders that have been fulfilled and a tracking number created cannot be changed or cancelled.

Returns

We only accept returns of unopened and unused products in their original packaging within 30 days of delivery. To be eligible for a refund, items must be in the same condition you received them. Because of the nature of paints and finishes, we cannot accept returns on opened or used items. The following items are not eligible for returns:

  • Sale Items
  • Gift Cards

Pre-paid labels are available by request or through our Self Service Returns Portal. Pre-paid label costs will be deducted from eligible refunds.

Refunds

Once we receive the return, it will be inspected to determine eligibility for a refund at the sole discretion of RMP Finishes. If approved, your refund will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

Refunds are for items alone. Shipping costs are non-refundable. Orders with Free Shipping will be refunded for the item(s) less the actual cost to ship the order to and/or from the address provided. If you receive a refund, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you received a pre-paid label for return shipment, the cost of shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at [email protected].

Damages

Please inspect your order upon arrival. If an item is damaged, leaking, or incorrect, contact us at [email protected] within 48 hours of delivery with a photo of the damage and the packaging. We will make it right immediately by sending a replacement or issuing a refund for the damaged item(s).

Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will send the missing item at no cost to you or provide a full refund for the missing item(s).

Stolen Packages

If a package is unfortunately stolen after delivery, a customer is eligible for a replacement if a police report is filed by the customer and a copy of the report sent to [email protected]. A signature will be required for the delivery of the replacement package. RMP Finishes is not responsible for stolen packages.

How To Start A Return

1. Click here to go to our self service returns portal.

2. Enter your order number and zip code of the ship to address. Use the number including the “R-“. Your order number will be in your order confirmation and shipment related emails.

3. Click the checkbox next to each item you are returning. Then choose the quantity being returned and a return reason.

4. Submit Request.

All self service returns will use UPS as the shipping carrier. Pack all items with sufficient padding in a sturdy box. Please include documentation for the items being returned. This includes original packing slip, printed email confirmation, or provided RMA number. Bring to a local UPS drop off or schedule a pickup.
